The beam is 20" wide and the nice styled shears with the sight hole is 12" tall. The 8" pointer show on a graduation if the beam is in or out of balance. The beam show lots of marks. Four times the calibration date from 1931 to 1939 and also the calibrator number 31.1024 / 34.2266 / 37.4014 and 39.1190 two Names to see: G.Neumann and J.Kaczmarek. All this marks look like from Poland. The beam weigh up to 10 Kg. The both handles which hold the pans are very nice decorated and are 24" tall. The complete scale is made of brass and is chromed.
